The monumental Baroque building from 1729 to 1732 imitates the austere designs of the Nordic Jesuit churches. Inside the church, visitors will be attracted especially by the original Baroque furnishings, namely the main altar with statues of Saints Peter and Paul by the Olomouc sculptor Ondrej Zahner and Saints Cyril and Methodius by his pupil and collaborator Jan Kammereit. He is also the author of the sculptural decoration of the pulpit. You should not miss the carved pews and confessionals, the massive classical organ by the Frýdek organist František Hořčička and the canvas on the main altar painted by Eliáš František Herbert.
