Masne krámy
In 1613 the town bought the house and had a meat shop built there. However, it was not until after 1800 that the house experienced its greatest fame and splendour. On the first floor, the municipality built a famous dance hall, allegedly the second largest in Moravia. The dance hall was also frequently visited by the uncrowned king of waltzes, Johann Strauss and his orchestra. Since the 1820s, the hall also served the needs of the theatre. In 1823, the young František Palacký, a native of nearby Hodslavice, attended a performance here.
