House at the Golden Deer
The two-storey, originally Renaissance building situated in the centre of the north-western side of the square has a characteristic gable with a relief of a deer with golden antlers. The terraced house has a neo-Baroque five-bay façade, which opens onto two arcades on the ground floor. The façade dates from 1913 and was created by the Nový Jičín architect Hugo Blum. In 1724, one of the oldest inns in the town was established in the house. At the beginning of the 19th century, the inn was transformed into a café and in 1845, Archduke Franz Karl visited the local establishment.
