House at the White angel
The core of the late Renaissance house from the beginning of the 17th century stands in a terraced building on the south-eastern side of the square. Its charming rococo façade dates from 1913. It was designed by one of the most famous architects of Nový Jičín, Hugo Blum. A sculpture with a statue of an angel completes the facade in the style of the Second Rococo. A late Renaissance beamed ceiling from the beginning of the 17th century was found during renovations in 1940. One of the interesting features of the house is that it was a pharmacy for over 300 years. Only in 2017 was it replaced by a café with a patisserie.
