Hotel and café Prague
The most representative building from the end of the 19th century in Nový Jičín, formerly known as Heinrichshof, was built in Art Nouveau style. The building diversified and decorated the street that connects the class of important public buildings on Okružní Avenue and Divadelní Street with the square. Its distinctive style is reminiscent of Viennese cafés and soon after its construction it became a prestigious place of social life in the city. The Heinrichshof Café and Restaurant attracted customers with its Viennese cuisine and, among other things, Viennese and Karviná beer.
The complex of buildings, café, restaurant and hotel, is today known as Hotel Praha.
