Disc rental

 

DiscGolfPark in Nový Jičín

The Discgolfpark in Nový Jičín was opened on Bocheta (Bohuslava Martinů street) in August 2014. You can borrow discs for this outdoor activity derived from golf in the TIC. It is played with a Frisbee and can be played by anyone, regardless of age. Every player tries to hit the basket with the frisbee in as few tries as possible, just like in golf. The place with a tee area and a basket is called a hole. The Nový Jičín park has 9 holes. Every hole has its own info board with a map of the park and the rules of the game. DiscGolfPark is always open to public.

 

TIC Disc rental

You can borrow the discs at the TIC NJ after presenting your ID, paying a returnable deposit and a rental fee and signing the renting agreement and the handover protocol during the opening hours of the Visitor Centre (NCNJ), throughout the year Mon-Fri 8:00-17:00,        Sat-Sun 9:00 – 16:00.

Rental fee for any number of discs for a day is 30,- CZK. Returnable deposit for 1 disc and 1 day is 200,- CZK. The deposit will be repaid when the discs are returned clean and undamaged at our TIC branch. Payment of the rental fee and deposit is only possible in cash.

There are 45 discs available in four weight categories: 140g - 150g, 170g --172g, 173g – 175g and 176 – 180g.

You can borrow the discs for up to 3 days.
