Disc Rental

Discs can be rented at the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) reception in the Visitor Centre. To rent a disc, you must present an ID, pay a refundable deposit, and sign a rental agreement and handover protocol. This can be done during the Visitor Centre (NCNJ) operating hours: year-round, Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00, and Saturday–Sunday 9:00–16:00.

The rental fee is 30 CZK per day (regardless of the number of discs rented). The refundable deposit is 200 CZK per disc.

The deposit will be returned to the customer upon the return of the discs—clean and undamaged—to our TIC–NCNJ branch in Nový Jičín. Rental fees and deposits must be paid in cash only. We have 45 discs available across four weight categories (140g–150g, 170g–172g, 173g–175g, and 176g–180g).

The maximum rental period is 3 days.

DiscGolfPark in Nový Jičín

In August 2014, a DiscGolfPark was opened in Nový Jičín at the Bocheta site (Bohuslava Martinů Street). At the Tourist Information Centre (TIC), you can rent discs for this outdoor activity. Derived from traditional golf, it is played using a flying disc and is suitable for people of all ages. Just like in golf, each player aims to hit the target basket in the fewest number of throws. The area from which the disc is thrown is called the "teeing area," while the location of the disc golf basket is referred to as a "hole." The course in Nový Jičín consists of 9 holes—meaning 9 teeing areas and 9 baskets. Each hole features an information board displaying a map of the course and the rules. The DiscGolfPark is open to the public at all times.
