† 25.5.1933 (Nový Jičín)

Maxmilian Karl August Weiss was the son of Rudolf Weiss senior and his wife Julie, née Graditzky. He contributed to the development of the family business, which grew to 62 mechanical looms. Unfortunately, with the establishment of Czechoslovakia, the possibilities for further sales were significantly reduced, but despite changes in the product range, failures on the markets in 1922 led to the cessation of operations. The factory buildings were eventually sold and used for other manufacturing industries. On April 25, 1903, he married Elsa, née Peschel. From the early 1920s, they lived together at No. 1117 Anenská Street. His son Hubert died fighting for the Wehrmacht on the northern front in 1944. With his death, one of the most important entrepreneurial families in the wool industry of northeastern Moravia died out.
