Sculpture of St. Roch and Sebastian - Memorial plaque with a rocaille cartouche
Commemorative plaque with rocaille cartouche
On two low stone steps, which form the base for the entire sculpture, there is a rectangular, upwardly tapering pedestal in the centre, terminating in a moulded cornice. On this rests a longitudinally oval slab bearing a small pyramidal formation. On the front side of the pedestal, three characters are rendered in low relief. The central coat of arms of the Free Lords of Zenon of Dannhausen is accompanied on the sides by weathered, completely indistinct oval characters. Below the coats of arms were formerly monograms.
The plaque has a rocaille cartouche, formerly with an inscription, now completely weathered and illegible. On the reverse side of the plaque there is an almost illegible text in a cartouche of the same shape, considerably damaged by stone erosion. A sandstone monument, the centre of which forms a conical tapering base with a cornice, on which is placed an oval inscription plaque topped with a pyramidal extension.
The pedestal measures 196 × 120 × 32 cm. Three characters are carved in relief on the base. In the centre is the coat of arms of Zen - a quartered shield with a central shield, three oblique crossbars in the centre, three oblique crossbars in the 1st and 4th fields, an oak branch with four acorns growing out of the trefoil in the 2nd and 3rd fields, flanked by two lilies; on the upper edge of the shield is a leafy crown. On the sides there are two oval baroque cartouches, heraldically on the right the emblem of Starý Jičín - a half-cocked shield, on the right a goat in a leap facing left, on the left a sheaf; on the left the emblem of Loučky - a sheaf accompanied on the sides by a harrow and a ploughshare, both instruments erect and facing left. The uniquely preserved coat of arms of this village, otherwise documented only on seals, here represents all 12 villages on the estate.
Under the shields are inscriptions in capitals, nowadays difficult to read and reconstructible only from older photographs:
