Holders of these permits are authorized to park their vehicles in the designated zone for an unlimited duration. Parking permits are valid for one calendar year.

Requirements for obtaining a permit:

• Vehicle registration certificate.
• National ID card.
• The vehicle owner must have permanent residence in one of the four zones.
• The vehicle owner must be the owner of a property located in one of the four zones.
• An individual with permanent residence in one of the four zones who does not own the vehicle must provide confirmation from their employer authorizing the use of a company vehicle for private purposes.
• The registered office or place of business must be located in one of the four zones.
• To obtain a business/commercial parking permit, you must also provide a trade license or an extract from the Commercial Register indicating the registered office or place of business.

The first resident parking permit costs 100 CZK/year. For a second vehicle registered to the same person, the fee is 2,000 CZK/year.

A commercial/business parking permit costs 2,000 CZK/year; the second and each subsequent permit cost 8,000 CZK/year (linked to the same business registration number/ID).

A fee of 100 CZK applies in the event of a change to the vehicle's license plate number.

Parking of motor vehicles on local roads in accordance with Nový Jičín City Council Regulation No. 5/2021 on the parking of motor vehicles on designated local roads in the city of Nový Jičín.

The Nový Jičín Town Council, by its Resolution No. 1472, item 62, dated 28 July 2021, approves, in accordance with Act No. 526/1990 Coll., on prices, as amended, this price list valid from 1 October 2021:

 

Parking of a motor vehicle in the municipality for a limited period, not exceeding 24 hours:

In view of the specific nature of the technical facilities at the Na Valech car park (the car park by the municipal market), a parking charge of 500 Kč is levied in the event of the loss of proof of payment of the agreed parking fee (parking ticket); this is payable at the payment terminal by pressing the ‘Loss of card (ticket)’ button .

Parking of a motor vehicle operated by a legal or natural person for business purposes, where that person has their registered office or place of business within a designated area of the town, or parking of a motor vehicle belonging to a natural person who has their permanent residence or owns property within a designated area of the town:
