15th century
1408 - 1416 - The estate was managed by Lacek z Kravař na Helfštýně. He was the Moravian provincial governor and the highest burgrave of Prague, who in 1415 organized protests of the Czech nobility against Hus's imprisonment and burning in Constance.
1427 - Anno domini, burning of the town of Nový Jičín by the Hussite sect.
Around the middle of the 15th century, the second branch church of the Holy Trinity was built in Nový Jičín.
1455 - The city gains its second annual market.
1492 - The city gains its third annual market.
At the end of the 15th century, the reconstruction of the Žerotín chateau into an occasional residence.
1500 - Jan of Kunovice sells the town to Žerotín, thus beginning their 58-year reign.
